Ashlyn's 1 Year Pictures.....

Ash was not into getting her pictures taken this time! She usually does really good but when she is not in the mood, she is not in the mood! They had a big Lego table in the lobby that she loved and didn't want to part with. So she kept running out of the studio to the Lego table and then when I would bring her back she would lay on the ground and throw a fit. We didn't get to do any outfit changes or background changes but we still managed to get some cute pics:)

Ashlyn's First Birthday!

I can't believe my baby is 1! Her birthday was December 5th:) She got two birthday parties, one here in Phoenix and one in Moab! These are pics from her party in Moab.

She wouldn't touch the cake because she didn't like getting the frosting on her fingers!. So we gave her a spoon to eat with and she went to town. I guess she is a little more girly than we thought:)

Halloween!

Here's Ashlyn and her first halloween adventure. We took her trick or treating to about four houses then we took her to a halloween event at the park. She was to young for most stuff but she just loves to be outside in her stroller.

Catching up September & October!

Holy Cow there is a new post on my blog can you believe it! I am way behind on our blog in case you haven't noticed:) I have been sick and sooooo tired with this pregnancy I hardly feel like doing anything! Can't wait for the second trimester to get here!! Here are some cute pics from the last couple months, nothing fancy:)

Big News!

Ashlyn is going to be a big sister! Yes that means I am pregnant! I am 5 weeks along so just 35 more to go which makes me due the begining of June. Ashlyn and the baby will be 18 months apart! I can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl so I don't have to call it "baby"! Everyone start praying for me now that I won't be as sick as I was last time:)

9 months old already!

Ashlyn is 9 months old today! I took her in for her 9 month checkup, she weighs 23 pounds!!! She is 30 inches tall and her head size is 17 1/2 inches. Which puts her in the 97th percentile for height and weight and 75th for head size. She already wears 18 month clothes. She is growing so fast she doesn't even look like a baby she looks like a little toddler. She has her two bottom teeth and the two top ones are so close to breaking thru, they are super swollen it's sad. Today she also discovered a new game: drop the toy and let mom and dad pick it up! It is really exciting let me tell you;)

Ashlyn is going to be a little dancer! When she jumps she points her toes and lately when she hears music she does a cute little dance.


A few days ago she took her first unassisted steps! It was so exciting she will be walking in no time. We haven't managed to get her on video yet cuz she never does it when we are expecting it. But here is a video of her and her walker, this video was taken almost a month ago when she first got the toy so she is much faster now!

She is way too happy in the mornings!! We are not morning people:)

Trip to Moab:)

We just got home from Moab Tuesday night. The drive is already long but when you add an 8 month old baby and frieked out cat it is even longer:) We took our cat Atis with us to get him declawed. That sounds crazy but it is $300.00 cheaper in Moab and they use the lazer!

He actually did better than I thought he would in the car. After the first two hours he settled down but at first he was meowing and panting and climbing everywhere.

He really wanted to see out the window! I don't know how that didn't make him car sick!

He finally found his comfy spot. He rode most of the way on the back of Ashlyn's car seat!


Rocky's sister Brandi had her baby two days before we got there so we got to meet him! Me and baby Trevin. Wouldn't I look good with another tiny baby:)

Trevin got Jondis (sp?) really bad and had to go back to the hospital for a few days. They put him in this little baby tanning bed and he could only come out during feeding time. It was so sad to see him in there with his blindfold on.

I had my ten year class reunion! Yes I know, I am older than you thought:) Haha! This is us trying to get a group photo together! There were a hundred people in my class and actually a lot of people showed up, it was really fun. Rocky and I didn't get home until 5 o'clock in the morning!

Ashlyn chewed on anything she could get her little mouth on! Think she is getting teeth? LOL

My Grandma let Ashlyn play with her hamster, poor hamster! You can see him in the gorde that she is chewing on, I think he was pretty scared. She was shaking it really hard with him still inside.

You can barely see him in her hand in this pic. She tried to pick him up and he started screeching. (or whatever noise hamsters make) Then we rescued the hamster and put him back in his cage so Ashlyn couldn't torture him anymore.
