Rocky is a Pilot Again!!

I took Ashlyn out to Goodyear Airport to visit Rocky at work. Rocky trains airline pilots for a European flight school based in Goodyear, AZ. It has been so great having Rocky flying again. He was definitely missing flying and the company he works for is a really good company!


This is a Piper Warrior. This is the single engine plane that he trains in, we didn't get a picture of the multi engine plane.

These next few pics are in the flight simulator. It is crazy how real it feels in there.




This is kind of a weird picture. I am standing in the back of the simulator and there is a huge 190 degree wrap around screen that is 14 feet tall, very huge! Whenever the screen shows you are turning it really makes you feel like you are turning even though the simulator doesn't move. I almost fell over when I was standing in the back! Then when I was sitting next to Rocky I kept asking him if he was sure the sim wasn't moving. It is such a crazy feeling.



This is us with all eight of Rocky's students at P.F Changs! I wish I had a better picture since you can't really see Frederik but for those of you who are counting, there are eight students in the pic! They are all so fun to hang out with! We will miss them when they go back to Europe!

Rocky and Lori Ann came to visit!

Rocky's parents came to visit for a week! We did a lot of fun things while they were here and Ashlyn got to hang out with her grandparents!

Here we are at Famous Daves, I had never been there before but it was so good! I think I am addicted now!


We got Ashlyn a new swimsuit, it looks so dang cute on here! It does have a little top but we didn't have it with us, I will have to post a picture of her with it on. I know you are checking out Ashlyn's thighs, they are my most favorite!


Ashyln has a small head so even the smallest hats are too big for her.

Aunt Cristy came to visit!

My sister came and stayed with us for four days. She is in the masters program at Southern Utah University so she is really busy and we don't get to see each other enough. We mostly just hung out at my house and made nightly runs to Sonic to get ice cream!:-) Cristy is really crafty so she helped me get started on some little projects that I have for Ashlyn and she gave me some good ideas of how to put a simple scrapbook together. Good thing for talented family members!
