Rocky's uncle Vernon and aunt Beverly have a house down in Maricopa that they live in during the winter months. It is in a really nice community with a big pool that was heated to 88 degrees! Rocky loves water and has been wanting to take Ashlyn swimming since the day she was born so he was so excited!

Vanessa's Baby Shower!:)
Last weekend (Feb 2nd, I get a little behind on my blog sometimes:)), Ashlyn and I drove to Moab Utah for Vanessa Hirigoyen's baby shower. Vanessa is having a boy and is naming him Gabriel Dale! Vanessa looks so cute pregnant I am glad I got to see her, she lives up in northern Utah so we don't see each other much.:( I am excited for her, she will make a great and fun mom! It is also cool that our babies will only be four months apart!
Vanessa and Ashlyn finally meet!
Vanessa's mom, Yvonne, and Ashlyn. Such a cute picture of them!
Vanessa and I have been best friends since fourth grade and I am so glad to have her as a friend. We have lived in different states for about the last seven years so sometimes it is easy to loose touch for a while but we always seem to pick up where we left off like we haven't been apart!

Ashlyn's two month checkup!
We took Ashlyn in for her two month checkup today! She weighs 12lbs 1oz and is 23.5 inches long! She is in the 75th percentile for weight and the 80th percentile for height! The Dr was really impressed with her head control! She can hold her head up and look around and sit up pretty good too with help, she is such a strong baby.
I was so happy that Rocky got to go to the appointment with us!
What do you moms think about vaccinating babies? I hear different things like how they can cause autism and have reactions. I haven't done very much research on them but I have heard that some could wait until they are a little bit older, like the hep B shot since she isn't really exposed to hep b right now. I am not against vaccinating, it just seems like a lot to inject into such a little body. Anyway, just wanted to hear what you all thought:).
