I've Been Picture Tagged!

My good friend Angela picture tagged me, I think she is trying to hint that I am way behind on blogging and is trying to help me out:) haha! Thanks Angela, I needed the motivation:)

So this is what I got from my 6th file and 6th picture:


A beautiful twin engine aircraft (which we do not own) flying over the coastline (which we do not live by) being operated by a male pilot (which is not Rocky). The tail number does happen to be Rocky's cell phone number though. This is a business card Rocky made about 5 years ago, CFII stands for Certified Flight Instrument Instructor and MEI stands for Multi Engine Instructor. That has not been our home phone number for about 3 years but it still works at the grocery stores under my name, I still use it:) Except sometimes at Safeway it says Erin Walsh and sometimes Angie Thompson, never did figure out why. LOL!

That is about all I can think of to blog about that picture, pretty exciting huh, now everyone can feel better about themselves for taking the time to read our blog! haha J/K

So anyway, I revised the instructions and picked a new picture. The whole 6th file is full of airplane pics so I went to my 5th file and 5th pic (which happened to be a video) and this is what I got:


Much better! This video is of Ashlyn learning to use a spoon:) She has always loved playing with silverware and now she is learning that they actually have a purpose other than, scattering them all over the floor and seeing if mom can pick them up and get them back into the dishwasher before Ashlyn notices. If she sees or hears the dishwasher opening she will drop everything she is doing to come collect all the silverware from the dishwasher and stratigically place them all over the house again! LOL Sometimes I feel like I learn more from Ashlyn then what she learns from me, this has taught me how to QUIETLY load the dishwasher so she doesn't hear it!

We are having a boy!!

We found out today that we are having a boy!! We are both excited, now we will have one of each:)

Christmas!

We hope everyone had a great holiday season! This year Rocky got two weeks off during Christmas! We went to Utah to be with family and we also spent a few days in Colorado!

Ash was not excited about Santa Claus!


It snowed a lot while we were in Colorado. Ashlyn actually liked the snow, we couldn't keep gloves on her though and it was really cold.


Poor girl was so exhausted. We were only in the car for 2 minutes and she fell asleep. That is definitely a record for her.





Ashlyn loves sitting under this table. A lot of people got her stuffed animals hoping to replace the infamous bunny:) Maybe it will work cuz I don't know how much time bunny has left, she is starting to fall apart:)

Ashlyn got addicted to M&M's while we were in Moab. She didn't care about opening presents, she went and dug her stick of M&M's out of her stocking. She had an M&M radar, whenever she saw a stick of candy, she knew it had M&M's in it and she would climb anything to try and get to it.

Ashlyn's 1 Year Pictures.....

Ash was not into getting her pictures taken this time! She usually does really good but when she is not in the mood, she is not in the mood! They had a big Lego table in the lobby that she loved and didn't want to part with. So she kept running out of the studio to the Lego table and then when I would bring her back she would lay on the ground and throw a fit. We didn't get to do any outfit changes or background changes but we still managed to get some cute pics:)


She was only happy if we let her pull balls off the Christmas Tress:)

Ashlyn's First Birthday!

I can't believe my baby is 1! Her birthday was December 5th:) She got two birthday parties, one here in Phoenix and one in Moab! These are pics from her party in Moab.

She wouldn't touch the cake because she didn't like getting the frosting on her fingers!. So we gave her a spoon to eat with and she went to town. I guess she is a little more girly than we thought:)
