Trip to Moab

We got to be in Moab for two and a half weeks! Ashlyn got really spoiled there since we have so much family, someone was always holding her all day long. Then at night she wouldn't sleep by herself so Rocky and I took turns sleeping with her in the recliner. When you are desperate for sleep you will sleep anywhere.:)


This was so hilarious on Ashlyn, but it kept her warm in the arctic temperatures of Moab.


We have tried to recruit Rocky's sister Brittni to move down here and be our nanny!

I love that Rocky and I still have our grandmas. We did manage to get family pictures with all four generations in them!

Ashlyn's First Christmas

Christmas time is very busy for us. We both have a lot of family and we try to visit as many people as possible so it can be a little exhausting but we love seeing everyone!


Ashlyn is not much for dressing up. I put this dress on her and she threw up on it 2 seconds after it was on. I put this next dress on her, it lasted for a few hours then she threw up on it also. I actually washed this first dress and put it back on her and she threw up on it again. So I gave up on the dresses and she was back to her comfy clothes then Ashlyn was a happy girl!

When you are 3 weeks old presents aren't that exciting, especially when you have been drug from house to house and you just want to sleep!

Our New Baby!

We finally have a blog! This is our family! Ashlyn was born on Dec 5th and she weighed 8lbs 14oz! We love her so much and couldn't imagine our lives without her! Here are some pictures of her during her first week!

Lazy Kitties

Yes our family also includes two spoiled cats! They don't know what to think about having a new baby around.

Atis has slept with us since he was a kitten and he is now almost 6 years old. He is not a bit happy about being locked out of the bedroom at night so he sleeps on the bed all day to make up for it!

Nauni loves this crack in the couch, she always cuddles in it. She is our scared kitty, she runs from everyone and every new sound freaks her out. She hates when Ashlyn cries.
