Happy Fathers Day!

Rocky helps me so much with our kids. He has especially been such a help with Ashlyn so I can focus on taking care of a new baby. He puts her to bed at night, gets up with her in the middle of the night and in the morning. When he comes home from work he plays with the kids and helps give me much needed breaks. I love it because it helps keep my sanity but also because he is building strong relationships with our kids. I wish every mom could have a hubby that is as helpful and involved with their kids as Rocky is. I am so grateful for having married such a great father! Happy Fathers Day Rocky!

Rustin is a cuddly baby, he will sleep for hours if you hold him:)

Rustin and Daddy getting ready for bed.

Had to have a video of Rustin eating daddy. We have one of Ashlyn eating daddy when she was a baby too:)

Happy Fathers Day to all the great dads in our lives:)

2 Weeks Already?

Rustin turned 2 weeks old yesterday! Time goes by so fast when you aren't getting any sleep LOL! I took him to the doctor yesterday and he already weighs 8lbs 11oz!! He seriously gained 9 oz in six days? When I took him last week he weighed 8lbs 2oz and had only gained 2 oz during the week prior. I'm glad he is healthy but I still want him to stay little:)

My mom was in town this last weekend and we took the kids to the wild animal park. This is Ashlyn on the train, she loved it! Every time it would go by us she would get excited and point and say "train" and she still gets excited when she sees these pics of herself on the train!

This is us trying to get her off of the train. When we would ask her if she would like to come with us to look at the animals she would just politely say "no"

Last week my mom took her to the park in our neighborhood and there was some really nice kids there. They were eleven years old and they just loved playing with Ashlyn. Well the next day they came and knocked on our door and asked if Ashlyn could play! It made me realize how big she is getting, my little girl is growing up! For the first time she had friends knock on our door and ask if she could play. :)

Rustin Pictures....

I can't believe Rustin is already a 10 days old! He was born 2 weeks early on May 26th at 8:56am and he weighed 8lbs 5oz and was 21 inches long. The doctor was concerned that he was getting big so after I walked like thirty miles trying to go into labor we decided to get induced. The self induction just wasn't working fast enough. We walked all weekend then on Sunday night we went for a walk in our neighborhood and I was seriously running in little spurts. I'm sure that was a strange sight for our neighbors, a nine month preggo lady running down the street! After all that I was completely exhausted and I called the doctor on Monday and scheduled the induction for that night. They gave me the gel at 2:30am and he was born 6 hours later! Much faster birth than Ash! Here are some pics of him after we got him home.

Rustin likes his bath.

I love this picture. One of the few we have with his eyes open.

He loves to be bundled up!

Rocky feeding him his first bottle. Aww:)

I never want to put him down. I don't want to miss a second of his baby life:) They are just not little long enough.

Passed out on mom. It is really hard to keep him awake to feed, he just passes right out after about two minutes.

The many sleeping faces of Rustin. He got a pretty bad birth rash during the first few days but it cleared up fast and now he has beautiful skin like Ashlyn.

Passed out on mom again!

His cute little smile. Must be having a good dream:)

First walk in the double stroller that my family got us:)

I love this picture of Ashy. She looks like she has cleavage though! haha

Ashlyn cooperating for the camera. lol

Here is a short video of him awake. Babies are so cute with there little spazy movements:)

We're home from the Hospital!!

Well we did it!! We had our beautiful little guy Rustin. I will let Angie tell more of the details of the whole event, but I wanted to post a few pics and brag about my amazing wifey!! Angie handled everything very calm and collected as usual. I know she wasn't 100% sure about inducing, but we took it one step at a time and in 20/20 hind sight we are very glad it all worked out the way it did! Angie is good at constantly thinking about what is best to do and I think she did awesome the entire time! She didn't sleep more than a few hours over a 3 day period and you wouldn't even know. She was very happy the whole time and as you will see below she still looked very sexy too. I think her eyes look seductive not droopy in the photos :) She has been even more incredible since we've made it home. She hardly ever sleeps, but still keeps up with all of us. She primarily has to handle Rustin due to certain physical features that I can't compete with :) and she is still doing very well with taking care of Ashlyn as well..(More than I thought was possible anyway) I am very lucky and have an awesome wife and family!!

Here is Ash kissing her little brother through Angie's belly for the last time around 11:30pm just before we headed to the hospital.

See 8lbs and 5.2oz!!

Minutes after birth everyone lookin pretty good.

That is Angie's shoulder if you were wondering! Look at all that hair..

And of course Ashy had to come to see her new little brother in style!

Just after his bath sporting his first little Mohawk and baby Lo jack on his right ankle.

We will see how long this lasts after more time at home:)

Just arrived home!! Starting to show a pretty bad birth rash now.

Nothing cool to say, just a good pic of him to see what he looks like!

See I told you, Angie looks good even after days of no sleep!

Sleeping peacefully just before Ash decided to run and hit the couch really hard to startle him!

Poor Rustin isn't too happy about the circ either, it really stings when he pees.. It is about the only time the little guy cries!! Wish him luck on that for the next 7-10 days until it heals up.

Well thanks for reading!! We love to hear everyone's comments, so keep em comin!!

Zoo and Other Updates....

So I'm still pregnant. We saw the doctor on Thursday and he tried to start my labor but the exam didn't work:( So we have been doing a lot of walking! I must make a really good home for my kids, they don't like to come out! I realize I am still 2 weeks away from my due date but if this kid is already 9 pounds then I don't think I want to wait much longer:) The doctor offered to induce me with medicine but I would like to try to get it started a little more naturally, but it might come to that. We took Ashlyn to the Wild Animal Park yesterday and I walked the entire park, still not one contraction! Does anyone have any good ways to help get labor started?

I must be feeling pretty brave today to post a picture of me at 38 weeks pregnant!

Ashlyn loved touching the sting rays. The worker lady kept yelling at her for splashing. LOL

She also loved the penguin exhibit but I think it was because they had a big carpeted step in front for her to play on, she didn't give a hoot about the penguins. They kept trying to get her attention thru the glass, they were so cute!

She was not found of the deer trying to eat her shorts! But she loved petting them!

The goats were a little much for her, they knocked her down a couple times. Not because they were mean but they just didn't pay attention.

Chillin in her sunglasses:)

Here are some cute pics of her playing with some of my old glasses that I found in a box from like atleast 5 years ago. I'm always surprised when I find stuff like this. We have moved a lot, how did I manage to keep them thru three moves? Usually moving is the perfect time to throw away old junk but some stuff still makes it to the next house!

For those of you who may not know, we are also in the process of buying a house! Everything is going good we should get our keys on June 8th! We are really excited and busy trying to pack and have things as ready as possible so our move can go smoothly!
